Does PCI-E 3.0 make a difference?
nope, very little difference, unless you run tri-quad titans at a very high resolution

Whoa I didn't see. Lets see how far it OC's then :evil2:
well ๐Ÿ™ apparently its a cpu-z bug ๐Ÿ˜ก http://i.imgur.com/tzXa44j.jpg Also by the looks of it its same **** termal paste like by IB 1.4V @ 5.1Ghz, but the temps are uknown, although they stated its possible to run 24/7 at this freq. voltage.. http://www.chinadiy.com.cn/html/24/n-9024-17.html Now i just dont know anymore, it better be ES limitation and I saw they were talking about rpm 1200rpm @ 4.3ghz and all the way up to 2600rpm, this makes me think it could be intel stock cooler.

It seems that the Chinese are not really bothered by NDA opposed to the rest of the globe. A website called Chinadiy posted Core i7-4770K performance results. The 22nm processor is compared towards a ... Core i7 4770K Haswell review posted in China
lol it's literally the same as the 3770k :deadhorse:

I'll take this with a grain of salt before other reviews can back these performance up. When's the NDA lifted on this again? deltatux

Haswell is more interesting on the Ultrabook side of things. ...
That's exactly what I was thinking. That's why I'm going to upgrade my Eee PC to an ultrabook this time around and stick with Sandy Bridge in my PC until Skylake, unless the overclock fails before then. Mainstream Skylake will support DDR4.

I hope these results are close to reality and that the chip won't OC to more than 5.5 GHz.. It would mean my 3930K @ 4.8 is gonna be great for years to come ๐Ÿ™‚ Seems like intel concentrated solely on using less current while delivering the same power. Good for ultrabooks, nothing revolutionary for PCs. No wonder since AMD cannot deliver anything with power..

I think these benchmarks are usless. First, they are gpu bound , second what will matter in haswell is overclocking and most of us are intrested in OC potential not clock for clock performance.
data/avatar/default/avatar08.webp
well there is no interest in clock per clock performance even 3770k maybe is a lil better, but if 4770k clocks higher at least 0.2ghz more for everybody on air or water then it's a win-win situation. It would be sweet if everyone could hit 4.8ghz+ on air and 5ghz+ on water with full stabilty 365/24/7  ๐Ÿ™‚ :3eyes:

In deed , the overclocking potential is most important for us. Basicaly if i can hit 4.8Ghz with good Air cooling , it's a buy for me.

impossible benchmark intel and we expected to be 10% over 3770 there's something missing

lol, nah, 10% more performance per watt consumption maybe, perhaps.
