This card won't be produced in numbers great enough to mean anything to us. You got people taking out loans on their home and selling their own children to buy GPUs just so they can mine. People are foaming at the mouth, going completely insane to buy as many GPUs as possible, all for themselves. We're not getting a 3080Ti. Not on launch and not until it's sold second hand after the 4000 series launches. And yeah, I expect it to be just as expensive as a 3090 if not much more. It's a unicorn.
Who are "we" ? A few guru3d members? Most people that want 30 series on this forum, already got cards . ...

In some parts of the world i'm sure it's been not too bad, you pay more than msrp but not too much, in the uk the shelves have been empty for ..i dunno five months, apart from 3090, which can be found for around £1700:)

The trouble with made in China GPUs is thats where the biggest mining farms are. I'll bet the cards dont even reach Chinese retailers but will be bought directly from manufacturers in bulk on day 1.

or waiting for their order since sept 17th 🙄 please,explain how is it that every time I ask about my card in the biggest pc part shop here all they can tell me is they're getting just a couple of units every now and then,yet you claim that everyone can get a card. your denial is just atonishing,makes you wonder how it's possible to have been living in a green bubble for so long when everyone is reporting unpreccedented shortages of just about every gpu.

You most likely ordered the cheapest card that everyone else ordered. Classic 😀 The queue on cards like Asus Tuf non oc and Gigabyte gaming is pretty high.

Does the LA refer to Louisiana or Los Angeles? I doubt Los Angeles, or California in general, has cheap electricity, so maybe it's Louisiana. Miners don't thrive in places with large power bills.
Being from Louisiana I can tell you 2 things. The first is "LA" is typically Los Angeles and "La" is Louisiana. Second, we have very few PC shops here so I doubt they are going to Louisiana.
