What does this thread have to do with GP104 and the 980Ti?
I'm clueless too as to why he replied with that thread link.
Can someone inform Colorful that the GTX 980 Ti will be obsolete in a month and any customer who buys it will be full of buyers regret when they GTX 1080 hit the shelves?
I agree, would be a bad buying decision.
No offense but that remark above is just based on speculations and even those don't reveal/imply anything of that sort. Nothing so far implies that a 6GB GTX 980Ti will be obsolete when GP104 gets released. P.S: I meant performance wise not as a choice which obviously is not a good one until we see what Pascal offers.
When you replied to the guy I've quoted above, you kind of contradicted yourself in your own reply. (P.S. Why does multi-quote look OK when browsing in the forums, but lose it's formatting when viewing the comments of the news story on the main guru3d site?)
I can't see the contradiction you mentioned. He said 980Ti will be obsolete in month which probably means when Pascal is released and I had a different opinion from that remark. I was merely replying to the bold part above in your quote. It clearly states in my post that I was referring to performance speculations.

All those title with the "offer" word get me wrongly excited lol. 'Offer' looks like the word 'offrir' in french, which translates as 'giveaway'. Anyway, had this on my mind for quite some time lol....

My guess: GTX 1070 - performance between GTX 980 and GTX 980ti (closer to GTX 980) @ 400 USD GTX 1080 - performance around 5-10% faster than GTX980ti (stock) @ 550 USD So, I agree and think it is a little late for a GTX 980ti release.
I'd buy this for a couple bucks.

It was a contradiction in context to your initial (over)reaction to his post in your first sentence when combined with your 'get out clause' in the last sentence of your reply. No point in me using more words to explain, too long & boring (and perhaps unnecessary).
