And all the while Intel doesn't understand why people really dislike them. Might like some products but really hate the company.

Winning only at gaming benchmarks, it all doesn't matter.

That is whole problem of company culture, company cant admit that is doing something wrong.. so we are reading such bad stuff and lies - Whole this attitude is just whole wrong.. is like if they would be some in sport competion adn they would loose, but they will say he we won.. Its nonsense and it has to stop to advance our society.

those slides thought ! ... MOAR CORES and threads do not count for gaming witch is fair the scaling is either non existent or too tiny past 8cores ! .... they compare their 8/8 thread core vs the 16/32 thread core in gaming price / performance ... hmm how about the 6core /12thread or 8/16 from amd for price performance in gaming ?

Does this mean Intel will be happy when reviewers stop pitting a 9900K vs a Ryzen at 720 or 1080 resolutions in games with a 2080ti. Real world performance is what they are asking for so i guess they will find out how you can take a ryzen 3 vs a 9900k and show marginal differences due to GPU bottleneck. Hey Intel this is a two way street.

If it wasn't clear already, Intel is falling behind and try to save face, but in the end they just look stupid when they post that kind of stuff online.

So.....Illustrator, Premiere and After Effects aren't used frequently? Someone might want to tell Adobe that their software doesn't matter....and that it's not frequently used...

um is Intel trying make the selves believe that or us? Head in sand this isnt happen sound like what there doing

Nice slides, Intel. But what happens if user wants to run chrome while doing other tasks? Or it's not real world scenario?

A true retard company Intel has become, that's for sure. AMD has also become better than Intel in the laptop segment, sweeping through with the 3xxx and even the 4xxx series, and Intel is crying like a tiny kid. They even made that lie today as they advertised one MSI laptop with the new Intel CPU to be faster than an ASUS Zephyrus laptop with a 4900HS CPU while being cheaper. However, they "forgot" to mention that the Zephyrus is a slimmer, nearly 1kg lighter laptop compared to the MSI, and that the Zephyrus only has RTX 2060 Max-Q while their laptop has full mobile RTX 2060.

That's something LOSERS would say. 🙂

What its matter is continue selling obsolete unsecure and expensive CPUs and make too much money (until Zen2 of course).... Now the history is complete different my friends.... this words just shows how Intel is desperate... Do you know when I will buy a CPU from them? Quiet NEVER!

Yeah, I am wondering if an i7 is enough to run word and steam or should I invest on an i9? 🙂:):):):):) I can understand them telling these things to consumers, but their partners? And their partners stand there and listen without laughing back at them and leaving?
data/avatar/default/avatar39.webp
ok intel, calm down champ.

Taking the real performance out of the equation here, this is just really, really emberassing marketing work. Every engineer at Intel should feel ashamed at what their marketing department does with their work, I would.

Edit: This is from 2019. https://newsroom.intel.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/11/2019/09/2019-IFA-Intel-RWPE.pdf
Good find there. Interestingly, the slides in your link show Q3, Intel's Q2 of the same program. But on your slides you can see they did their job in cherry picking what programs and games to list, since Intel left out the numbers on the slides in the OP, and in the link there, they used numbers 3, 8, 16, 18, 19... In my very own usage scenario, I don't use Chrome (or chomium etc.), no Word, no WinRAR, no PP, no excel, no VLC, neither Outlook nor Skype, no PS, I don't play CSGO or LOL, I don't use OBS, no Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, Cinema4D... so their "real usage" isn't even close to mine... Just that kind of marketing BS people need to see through, those slides are utterly worthless to anybody related to the topic at all. It's marketing after all 🙄

Being an Intel fanboy i like their products for gaming but this kind of marketing is just lame, absurd and pathetic. Instead of showing better results in each market segment, each usage scenario with new architectures and designs, you try to exploit some press rumors/fake community research. Just like politicians do blaming each other instead of improving themselves. And it seems that Winrar is as much used as Steam - Now i know the whole truth about real world usage. I start using WinRAR right away, it is as good as Steam!

Suddenly moar cores doesnt matter for Intel,Intel(ligence) at the finest noobs. IRL the old farts from Intel are f***.A quick question for them: Hey Intel you have billions of dollars on you, where is your top-class phone processor?Because in today's phone marketplace: no ARM,no market. They present slides and suddenly they are conviced themselves the moar cores is a etilist thing,is not for us (the peasants), like majority of gamers or creators who are convinced to join the moar than 4 cores (Intel) thing at the right price.

Intel is hurt, and thats a good thing for everyone besides intel
https://forums.guru3d.com/data/avatars/m/270/270792.jpg
The sad part is that most people don't know better, so marketing is very effective on them. 🙁

Intel could at least be half honest and stating they are the best because they got more fps for high refresh gaming, they are better for certain workload (office, light photoshop, audio, etc.), They have the best brand image/recognition, and more mature relation with OEM and system integrator and just be silent about ALL the stuff where AMD beat them down. But no they have to spread BS like a teenager troll. /facepalm
