I'm not quite sure where you got that info, but it's largely incorrect. DOOM, Quantum Break, Dead Rising 3, Just cause 3, ark survival evolved, arkham knight, any game using Unreal Engine 4 do not support SLI. pretty much my findings with 2xr9 290x's (to be fair I got them for mining to start with) 2x GTX970's .. most of the time it was just dead money because the cards didn't scale or work with a lot of games I played, but it must be said when it did it seemed grate, although like pointed out the games already ran at high frame rate on a single card so the extra power wasn't even needed That is unless you are using a triple monitor setup which the review failed to point out, because the power of sli or crossfire with triple monitor setup is night and day with game sli or crossfire work with, tell reviewer to go back to the drawing board. but I will just stick with one card these days..
