I don't understand why people complain about the drivers they're fine on my apu with crossfire do most people complaining even use amd graphics? I own both amd and Nvidia and theyre both good

they used an excelent cooling solution on the 7990, they could bring another one to this monster, and for people complaining about drivers the 7990 is number one in almost all benchs ( frame pacing is actualy working )

I knew just a matter of time, Very very good, but I am still holding off till maxwell or am I???
Lets see what nvidia brings out after this, If they release a dual version of the 780ti, I am defint going to sell this gtx 690, then my next card afterwards will be a dual maxwell, if and when that will be.
Bring it on nvidia, I am very desperately waiting to see what nvidia will do this time, please release dual titan or even a dual 780ti(if thats even possible)
This is going to be awesome.

If they can keep it cooled, then it will be pretty beastly.

Only a matter of time now before nvidia we read rumors about a 790 or titan ultra 😛
I wonder how much ram these will have.

If only AMD had this kind of product on there CPU end Amd seem to only have competitive GPU with NVidia there CPU are far behind intel, Which as made intel lazy.
Though I really curious as to how the dual gpu on one board gona work considering the heat 1 290 put out
First fermi gpu or 290 which have/had the worse thermals

Sweet! I can heat the back half of my house with this card in the winter

"CrossFire has caused a lot of problems for AMD in recent months (and a lot of problems for me as well). But, AMD continues to make strides in correcting the frame pacing issues associated with CrossFire configurations and the new R9 290X moves the bar forward."
Last I checked, Ryan has always been AMD biased and is clearly not some hack who hasn't used AMD products in a decade. Even his site used to be AMDMB.com before he changed it so he wouldn't look completely biased.
Also, there is no shortage of people having crossfire problems here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1440600/r9-290-having-problem-with-crossfire
Plus if you look at their amd video card forum, there are plenty of non-user error issues.
That's not even remotely accurate. If it were, you'd give evidence to back up your claim.
For example:
Ryan Shrout @ PCPER says DarkKnightDude
If it has decent cooling, decent price, 3 slot cooler, could be good.

Nice, something to go with my HotLava Systems Vesuvius 6-port network card.

Look, considering amd's drivers stability, mgpu problems and the thermal failure on r9 200 series, well, gtx titan ultra or 780 ti black edition whatever it will be called the next nvidia's top weapon is a by far a superior choice. 🙂

I have systems with both Red and Green right now, and have for years --- the whole "drivers suck for x or z" is just hyped up drivel anno 2013. By and large, both sides are just fine right now and most problems that you read about are when new games come out that are released without sufficient quality control and testing. Wait an extra month to play that "awesomesauce new game dudebro" and such problems tend to disappear. :rpg:
