That's not really an issue AMD can even fix. It's caused by non standard settings for monitors. You can actually fix the issue by changing the display settings with CRU
They could fix it in far more cases, Polaris clocked down VRAM way more often.

The VRAM idle downclocking on older drivers is a bit odd too. Both monitors 1080p. 60/144 does downclock 60/120 doesn't downclock 60/100 does downclock. Hmm...

Increase vertical blanking timing until it works.

Just googled it and found the explanation. It doesn't work. I increased vertical blanking time in increments of 10 (default was 46) I went to 56, 66, 76, etc all the way upto 156 and yes I used the reset64.exe to reset the driver. None of the values worked and at 156 I got flickering on my main monitor as it increases the pixel clock too high. Also I have an 8K DP 1.4 compatible cable (32.4Gbps).

Multi monitor has additional requirements. I suppose ideally both displays should run at exactly the same refresh rate. With at least Nvidia it might also help when both displays are capable of VRR.

Driver still says my video card doesn't meet the minimum requirement to play Halo Infinite.

Forza 5 + Win10 21H2 vega56 STOCK, all settings to HIGH, FHD resolution. better perfomance, than HALO Infinite Drivers.

Considering how bad the game runs it isnt far from the truth.

You have to increase and decrease vertical blanking on both displays separately until you get the correct setting that works

There's performance issues? it's running really smooth for me. I would assume a video game not meeting the minimum requirements would mean the video card cannot run the video game..

I dont play the game but from i've seen polaris dont perform the best here. If its running smooth for you thats great. And yeah, ignore what the driver said. 🙂

On my system it's pretty much on vsync 60fps most of the time, I think some of the more busy maps can drop into the 50's.. I'm of course not using high settings, mix of medium & low.. and then terrain, simulation & flocking is set to high... sharpening set to 10%, async computer turned off because it can crash the game with it set to on, and then in steam dlc tab for the game I unticked multiplayer high resolution's textures. Give the game a try, it's free : D 18.4GB install size *edit* lol, went to play Halo Infinite and it crashed right away with this driver, full system lock, black screen, game sound looping crash.... bug report sent, reverting back to the Halo Infinite 21.40.03.01 drivers, those were perfect for me.

when buying ignore fancy adverts and well put together pdf files, use forums and knowledge not pictures.
