14.x RC1 (14.410.0.0 September 2) OpenCL 2.0?
I'm curious whether this WHQL is superior to asder00's X7007
So which ones are better , 14.9 or 14.x 410

A word of waring for R9 290(X) Crossfire users! I have encountered the same black screen hang on PC shutdown as the one in 14.300.1005.0 August 27. Will disable ULPS and report back!

waiting for feedback, until all the ''im downloading it now'' pages are done. (usually until page 4, comes the feedback).
thanks asder.

This is AMD official, not Asder00.

OK, I can confirm that the bug that was reported in the leaked/modded 14.300.1005.0 August 27 with R9 290(X) in Crossfire is in this driver as well.
If after install the PC does not fully shut down and stays partially on or if it hangs when running 3D apps, disable ULPS.

So what's the point of these drivers if they don't fix the reported issues? Damn it AMD...

Thanks Rich_Dude and AMDMatt.

These seem fine to me, minimum in LL was down again on the benchmark (everything elses minimums was fine), 9+ (previously 20+ on the 14.41 RC1s), but the actual game played fine, no quick pause/freeze.
Gained slightly on the Tomb Raider bench, min 62.0 (same as 14.41 RC1s), max 110, Avg 83.6 (previous Avg 83.3 on 14.41 RC1s :P).
Sniper Elite v2 bench seemed the same as the 14.41 RC1s, just a very slight drop on the minimums, went from 35+, to 32.99, which is nothing.
Grid 2 was around the same as well.
Bioshock Infinite maximum frames was up, went from just over 178, to just over 229, minimums etc... were around the same as 14.41s.
3D Mark 11 was 11.877, (14.41 RC1s was 11.910).
Seem fine these, so will stick with them, as only playing LL at the minute, and it runs fine as said. 🙂

They didn't include a chipset driver this time. But I can't find any new 14.9 either. Maybe they didn't release one yet.
My monitor didn't come back from sleep. Still the old bug.

You should do a ticket and ask.
Are you sure its a driver issue because at least the sapphire 290's (non X) have gotten bios updates for the black screens, which seems to be fixing the issue.

I get a black screen at the very end of the reboot/shutdown process, right where the system is supposed to reboot/shutdown it stays powered on. Also hangs when starting some 3D application that uses Crossfire, like BF4. After ULPS is disabled, no more issues but obviously the second card stays always on and the first never goes into power saving mode when the monitor is in standby.
Yes I am sure, it is specific to the 14.300 branch of drivers, no such bug in previous drivers. Also my cards are Gigabyte and I have the latest BIOS.

is there any improvements for amd gaming evolved app? (raptor) for recording self gameplay.
The Mac
That would be a patch from raptr, not in the drivers.

DJLRADEON
i would say is ther a newer version of raptor included?

Have we figured out if this is just a signed build of one of the betas already released ?

So, after installing CCC 14.9 I couldn't play games, couldn't load a browser with 'use hardware acceleration' on and when I check dxdiag my computer would crash. I would get audio stuttering and then a complete freeze. Had to hard restart. Rolled back to 14.7 RC3 beta and all is good. This is a very bad release in my opinion for having to wait so long for non beta release. I think it had something to do with directshow. Be wary of this new release.
