Interesting. 8000 series previously suggested both laptop and desktop versions with separate naming schemes. If they move towards 8000 series being similar to 6000 series for laptops, would at least clear up some of the naming scheme problems of current 7 series cpu's in laptop space. Might even be that 8000 series will be test hybrid chip series vs more traditional cpus thus far

Desktop 8000 would be oem only like 4000 if such a case were true.

I do not get why they skip names ... But ok :P
