people can say what they what but no one will convice me other wise that K chips were done to make the people that OC pay more, cause the non k are generally not OC able. Nothing more then ploy to make the minority that OC that dont Upgrade as often as people that dont OC and it worked. though people will spin that around to make people that that not what they did. Since K and None K chips you pretty much gona pay premium if you want to OC or have higher base/turbo clock

That is a pricey motherboard you need to do this. Kind of negates the cost savings of buying a non-K CPU. I hope this tweak hits some mid-range boards.
