Undying:

14/12/7nm whatever its silly to buy a slower cpu for more just becouse amd/intel.
I agree, but Intel's 10nm 11th gen CPUs aren't overall slower and they don't cost more either. So, they're actually sensible. I got an 1135G7 because for what I do, it yields better performance-per-watt and performance-per-dollar compared to any of the available AMD CPUs at the time. I'm sure the Zen3 models would have beaten it in overall performance, but not enough to justify the cost.

don't forget the 1st micro-transaction car in the world, can't wait for all other brands making you pay a monthly fee for the steering wheel to turn ๐Ÿ˜ก I went amd not because of the supposedly "better power" of amd they don't because for the same price you're going to take more cores (that you will barely use) so you end up in the same temp/wattage in the end but pcie 4.0 hello....we are in the M.2 nvme times you can't sell a cpu with just enough for am gpu and nothing else, I'm sur if Intel regains their sanity and start selling pcie 4+ things will go the other way, unless amd steps up again in the next gen heh
11400f does have 4.0 tho so does whole 11th gen not worth paying extra for 4.0 imo,all it helps is sequential transfers.i'd rather have a better and more durable 3.0 drive tbh.

There is nothing realistic about 3600 being more expensive and slower than 10400f but outselling it like crazy. Mindshare im telling you. Amd = good, Intel = bad
I think people buy with reviews in mind. And when I say that, they probably watch a review of the 3950X versus Intel counter part, and because AMD was massively better value they assume 3600 vs 11400 would be the same. Incredibly 3600 is the same price it lunched here, I bought 2600 for 130โ‚ฌ back in August 2019 expecting to upgrade later, but no low cost CPUs to upgrade to made me hold to this little guy.

Thank god no. There is a reason Norway never was in the EU ๐Ÿ™‚ What you mean with that, is a mystery... Mindfactory is the only shop in the world that share salesnumbers. Too bad. Here is the top seller list of cpus in the biggest e-tailer in Scandinavia: https://www.komplett.no/category/11204/datautstyr/pc-komponenter/prosessorer?nlevel=10000ยง28003ยง11204&sort=OrderedTimes_bf:DESCENDING
And the same list but for Sweden https://www.komplett.se/category/11204/datorutrustning/datorkomponenter/processor?nlevel=10000%C2%A728003%C2%A711204&sort=OrderedTimes_bf%3ADESCENDING

Maybe you've noticed that we like to maintain a certain level of politeness and language. And even if AMD is selling more or whatever, both Intel and AMD have their strong and their weak points. Also, both companies are not your friend or family, you as a customer, buy what you considered worthy of your money. And before anything, remember the old saying: while in Rome, act like Romans. Did you saw anyone in this forum writing something like you did? Thank you for your participation in this thread, for sure there are better ways to express the same opinion.

At least Intel doesn't abuse monkeys for exhaust fumes experiments (as far as we know).
