My my, thats the most flamboyant post i have ever seen. Its like a troll dressed for Mardi Gras. No see this 4k bollocks really annoys me. With everything going digital and what not, tv's be internet ready etc, its a bitch to stream 1080p content as is, are we really going to have 4k tvs and watching 720p upscaled content until 8k screens hit, then it'll be 1080p upscaled on 8k's. Sooo diddly dumb.

Nah the ASUS is 60Hz but I think only DisplayPort 1.3 supports 60Hz @ 4K, HMDI 2.0 will support it but the current 1.4 doesn't. And even then, HDMI 2.0 won't support 4K @ 120hz unless you run it at 8bit and compress it, since 2.0 is using packet based transmissions.

Oh i see, cheers for explaining, i take it from what you say Asus is the only one at 60hz atm. I suppose in time somebody will implant and Overclockable PCB to 120hz at 4k.

Good, let´s push tech forward so we can have a 4k gaming monitor in 4/6 years. Btw, damn what a jump. I´m writing this on my 1080p monitor thinking of the giggity it´ll be to use a 4k display. Imagine the possibilities few decades from now. 🤓
