I'm using Keplar math 1 680 reference is $480 a 690 is $1000. So maybe it will be more like $2100 but still. And yes I realize the cooler on the 690 is much better than what's on a reference 680 just having some fun. If nvidia made a dual gpu Titan they can charge whatever they want because the people that want it will buy it.

they can do that right now with a single core titan. I was suprised it was a 6gb card. nvidia has never been generous with vram tbh

Hence the hefty price tag.

Nvidia cannot and will not release a dual GPU titan. They would have to cut down both the GPUs on it, which doesn't really make it Titan anymore. Titan is just a scaled up 680. That's it. If you cut it down, then you just have another 690.
No need to cut it down. It's pretty straightforward - use the same GK110 from Titan and do some careful binning/undervolting/undeclocking. And from TDP standpoint, that's still a tad easier feat, then what they have done with GF110/GTX 590
