ViewSonic XG2703-GS G-Sync Gaming Monitor

ViewSonic released their XG2703-GS G-Sync Gaming Monitor. The 27-inch IPS based monitor comes with a 2560×1440 resolution. panel. IPS wise it can manage 165hz (with DisplayPort 1.2a) refresh rate with 4ms GTG response time. Screen brightness is 300 cd/m2 with a static contrast ratio of 1000:1.

The display offers Ultra Low Motion Blur Technology (ULMB) for reduced image ghosting, and Dark Color Enhancement for increased detail and visibility in dark scenes. The XG2703-GS has an OSD with 6-axis color control.

Minitor out and input wise you'll spot 1x HMDI and 1x DisplayPort 1.2 (required for the 165hz refresh rate). Other connections include 2x USB 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0 ports. The stand offers pivot, height, swivel, and tilt adjustments and the screen comes with VESA mounts (100 x 100mm). For more information on both models, check ViewSonic’s official website.

BTW the XG2703 offers FreeSync (AMD) and has red accents, the XG2703-GS thus with GSYNC has green accents.

FFS, PC monitors.

Without doubt the most overpriced segment of PC gaming components, and that's saying something given the Nvidia cash grab on the Pascal cards.

a 27' monitor should not cost more than $500, no matter what tech wizardry they include, end of story.

I pass another grainy screen with poor IQ

These days you put the word "gaming" even on turds and sell them as expensive luxury turds dipped in white chocolate.

I find it ridiculous that people pay for this :-)
