VAIO has introduced new models of the VAIO SX12 and VAIO SX14 series equipped with Intel Core processors."VAIO SX12 ALL BLACK EDITION with a 14-core / 20-thread Core i7-1280P processor will be available. You can also choose the series' first 5G model. Fine White, Urban Bronze, Fine Black, and Bright Silver are the four hues available.
The VAIO official online store will begin accepting orders today and will be available on July 1st.
VAIO SX12
The new "VAIO SX12" is a 12.5-inch mobile notebook PC with 1.5 times the CPU performance of previous models thanks to a refresh to the 12th generation Intel Core processor. Adopts original VAIO TruePerformance tuning, which improves power supply and heat dissipation capacity and results in a longer peak performance. The display is a full HD wide liquid crystal display, and the maximum specifications include a Core i7-1260P CPU with 12 cores / 16 threads, memory LPDDR4X 16GB, storage 512GB PCIe SSD, and so on. The operating system is Windows 11.
The wireless network is Wi-Fi 6E compatible, and the online communication function has been improved by installing a maximum full HD webcam with camera picture optimization. It has the lightest configuration that passes the MIL-STD-810H quality standard, a body weight of roughly 899g, and a battery life of up to about 26 hours.
External dimensions are roughly 287.8 mm wide, 205 mm deep, and 15 to 17.9 mm thick. There are five color options: Urban Bronze, Fine White, Fine Black, Bright Silver, and Rose Gold.

VAIO SX14
The new "VAIO SX14" is a 14-inch mobile notebook PC that greatly outperforms the previous generation by renewing the 12th generation Intel Core processor in the same manner as described before. Supports original VAIO TruePerformance tweaking, extracts CPU performance, and displays improved performance.
In addition to the conventional full HD wide LCD display, a 4K (3,840 x 2,160) model and a touch panel type are available. The maximum specs include Core i7-1260P, LPDDR4X 16GB memory, 1TB PCIe SSD storage, and so forth. The operating system is Windows 11.
This also includes a highly durable body that is MIL-STD-810H certified, as well as upgraded functions for online conferences such as Wi-Fi 6E support. It has the lightest configuration, a lightweight design weighing about 1.046 kg, and a battery life of up to about 27 hours.
The external dimensions are roughly 320.4 mm wide, 222.9 mm deep, and 13.3-17.9 mm thick. Fine White, Urban Bronze, Fine Black, and Bright Silver are the four hues available.
