It seems that AMD is set to Launch New Chipset Software with Performance Optimizer for Upcoming Ryzen 7000X3D Series Processor.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is gearing up to release the latest version of its Chipset software, version 5.01.29.2026 WHQL. The new software is expected to appeal to users planning to buy the upcoming Ryzen 7000X3D series processor. The chipset driver includes the "3D V-Cache Performance Optimizer driver" component, version 1.0.0.7, which will give Windows an understanding of the asymmetric nature of 3DV cache on the 16-core 7950X3D and 12-core 7900X3D. This understanding should theoretically enhance performance in less parallelized workloads like games.

The AMD website has not yet listed the driver, but it should be available closer to the market-availability date of the 7950X3D and 7900X3D, expected to be on February 28. The optimization is expected to work on Windows 11 and Windows 10, meaning users on the older operating system can still benefit from the performance enhancements.
