TRENDnet Introduces More 10G Switches (5-port (TEG-S750) and 6-port (TEG-S762))

TRENDnet Introduces More 10G Switches (5-port (TEG-S750) and 6-port (TEG-S762))

TRENDnet is happy to announce two new 10G switches to its Multi-Gigabit Product Solutions line. The new 10G switches are the 5-port (TEG-S750) and 6-port (TEG-S762). Both 10G switches are low-cost, high-performance, easy-to-use, and reliable.

The TEG-S750 5-Port 10G Switch includes five dedicated 10G ports with a switching throughput of 100Gbps. Additionally, it supports 2.5G and 5G connections over Cat5e (or greater) cabling; and 10G connections over Cat6A cabling (or better). The TEG-S762 6-Port 10G Switch includes two dedicated 10G ports and four dedicated 2.5G ports with a switching throughput of 60Gbps.

These new unmanaged 10G switches offer a cost-effective way to add multi-gigabit capabilities to any network, thereby alleviating data bottlenecks. A fanless design saves energy and money while removing distracting noise for silent operation. Each dependable 10G switch is housed in a lightweight yet strong metal body.

“When multi-gigabit solutions first hit the market a few years ago, there were very few supported devices available, and the market wasn’t fully ready for it,” said Evan Davis, senior manager of solutions engineering at TRENDnet. “But today, there are many more devices that not only support it, but specifically utilize multi-gigabit bandwidth, such as NAS devices, computer servers, routers, modems, and access points.”

TRENDnet's 5-Port 10G Switch (TEG-S750) and 6-Port 10G Switch (TEG-S762) are part of the company's growing portfolio of multi-gigabit connection products, which also includes 10G, 5G, and 2.5G connectivity. TRENDnet's multi-gigabit solutions include USB-C adapters, PCIe adapters, PoE+ injectors, and SFP+ modules in addition to PoE+ and non-PoE switches.
TRENDnet's new unmanaged 10G switches are now available globally.

They are available online through the TRENDnet shop, as well as through TRENDnet's authorized distribution network and retail partners globally.

We should applaud any companies working to make (reasonably) affordable 10G gear. 5x10G ports is decent for that TEG-S750 model.

I think this needs to be about $50 cheaper though. At $350 it's tough to compete with something like the Ubiquiti Flex XG (4x10G) at $299

Nice finally more ports and fanless, next step would be 8 ports.. or 16 ports, i dont mind half of them be just 1 Gb/s..

Happy to see more competition in the 10Gb space.
