The most played games on Steam in 2022 is ...

Valve announced The Best of Steam 2022, and in this post, we will take a look at the year's most popular games. Every game in 2022 that had more than 40,000 participants online at once is included on this list.

This section organises games by the maximum number of players they ever had at once. Sweepstakes, free weekends, and other temporary increases in players were not taken into account.

Games with a peak of more than 240,000 concurrent players:

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
  • CS:GO
  • ARK: Survival Evolved
  • Destiny 2
