Team Group (Taiwan) has introduced the 745 SSD series of industrial SSDs, which employ the 5th generation "BiCS," which is a 112-layer 3D TLC NAND flash.

The capacity of the 5th generation "BiCS" is about 40% higher and the data transmission speed is up to 50% faster than the traditional model that uses the 4th generation. It also uses SLC cache technology, which makes it excellent for AI edge computing applications that demand low latency and huge storage capacity.

With sizes ranging from 128GB to 2TB, the interface selection comprises SATA and PCI-Express3.0 (x4) models. Both offer outstanding temperature and humidity resistance, as well as military-level shock and vibration resistance.

The worldwide market product is set to be on sale in mid-May 2022.
