The entire geeky techie scene is quite excited about this, yours truly included. A new trailer for the upcoming Star Trek: Picard series has been shown at the New York Comic-Con exhibition, including a premiere date at January 24, 2020, at Amazon's Prime, not Netflix.

Why does every actor except the old cast look like they are completely random people picked off the street? They have the most generic faces I've ever seen.

Data looks quite rough in it for an android who shouldn't age, especially if he's a memory now, but the rest look great, very excited for this.
