It'll also likely have a bunch of pointless setting locks keeping it down at console level including a 60 fps lock which shills and imbeciles will defend.
The is one of the very rare titles from a scumbag company (which contains Denuvo) which I will begrudgingly buy. It's the second one I ever will, but man does it feel bad.
I wanted to order the collector's edition, is that even available for PC, or do we get treated like shit as usual?
It's using Denuvo. And it comes with "DLC" that is not actually DLC, but day 1, already existing content, locking a main character behind a paywall.

one of the devs specifically petitioned to have tira added after the game was already announced & fans of previous titles were asking about her. the devs were convinced & added her to the roster (one character in a complex fighting game is a surprising amount of work)...but since she wasnt a part of the core game, which was designed & finalized months & months before...instead of modifying their previous work, they tacked her on instead.
day1 DLC is still in poor taste, but this situation makes plenty of sense since they were already working on the season pass content anyway. now, something im NOT going to defend them regarding...no collectors edition/statue for PC that i can find. only for console versions. frankly thats bullshit, but im still looking forward to this game A LOT as an old soul edge fan

I'll tell you what's in poor taste, $117 for Canadians to buy the version with the day 1 DLC included. $80 for the bare bones game if you feel like paying tons more for the rest of the game later. It's not even like the console versions which come with bundled items like a sound track and metal case, this is entirely digital so we get frack-all.
And no, there appears to be no collector's edition for the PC version. I'd say "oh well it was $200 pre-tax anyway ($226)" but just a digital copy is $117. What kind of crack have Namco/Bandai been smoking recently? This game doesn't even have any new art assets, it's literally the assets of SC4, a 2008 release with 2000 graphics, ported to UE4. Disgusting.
