SilverStone Technology, headquartered in Taiwan, formally revealed their "IceMyst" series of all-in-one (AIO) water cooling units on August 2, 2023. What distinguishes this series is the ability to augment fans on the water block, aiming to efficiently cool hot spots.

The IceMyst series was first showcased at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2023 and comprises models based on radiator size: IceMyst 240 (240mm), IceMyst 280 (280mm), IceMyst 360 (360mm), and IceMyst 420 (420mm). Additionally, an optional fan, "IMF70 ARGB," is available for each model.

During COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2023, the innovative feature of this series was highlighted – the addition of the IMF70 ARGB cooling fan to the water block. The goal is to cool components such as the power supply circuit, memory, and NVMe Solid State Drive (SSD) heatsinks. One of the key advantages is that multiple IMF70 ARGB fans can be stacked, rotated 360 degrees, and precisely adjusted to provide focused cooling while avoiding obstruction.

The IMF70 ARGB fans were initially an undetermined aspect during COMPUTEX, but the product version will offer them as a separate optional purchase. Fan specifications vary across models. The 120mm fan model operates at 500-2,200rpm, offering a maximum air volume of 75.74CFM, maximum static pressure of 3.4mmH2O, and a noise level of 12.1 to 33.1dBA. On the other hand, the 140mm fan model operates at a speed of 400-1,750rpm, offering a maximum air volume of 93.29CFM, maximum static pressure of 2.39mmH2O, and a noise level of 13.3-30.8dBA. Both are equipped with a 4pin PWM+ARGB connector and support daisy-chaining.

The optional IMF70 ARGB fan specifications include an operational speed of 500 to 2,800 rpm, maximum air volume of 17.2 CFM, maximum static pressure of 2.0 mmH2O, and maximum noise of 28.2 dBA.

All models in the series share a pump speed of 3,100 rpm ± 10%. The IceMyst series is compatible with Intel LGA1700/1200/115X/2011/2066 and AMD Socket AM5/AM4 platforms.
