Scythe OSIRIS2 MicroATX slim case with SFX300W power supply
Scythe introduced the OSIRIS2 MicroATX small PC case, which comes complete with an SFX300W power supply unit. It will be available beginning January 27th.
On the successor model of the "OSIRIS" series, the existing model "OSIRIS2" is being upgraded based on the specification change of adding or upgrading the power supply unit for the USB port. More precisely, the power supply unit's capacity has been increased from 250W to 300W in accordance with SFX standards. The external interface features USB3.0x1 and USB2.0x2 ports (the current model only has one), as well as HD Audio in / out.
MicroATX and Mini-ITX motherboards are compatible, and the CPU cooler's effective height is 66mm. The drive bay arrangement is as follows: 5.25 inch x 1, 3.5 inch shadow bay x 2 (one of which is exclusive to the 5.25 inch specification), 2.5 inch shadow bay x 2. (one of which is 5.25 inch bay and exclusive specification). There are four extension slots, and the total length of the effective space is up to 220 mm (when an optical drive with a depth of 170 mm is installed).
On the top, an 80mm x 1 cooling fan is standard, and an additional 80mm x 1 cooling fan can be added to the bottom. The material is SECC, and the total weight, including the power supply unit, is 3.25kg. External dimensions are 152 mm in width, 420 mm in depth, and 315 mm in height. The item includes a vertical stand. It's priced 65 USD.

This is a slim tower. It's not targeted towards gamers in any way. It's targeted at people that are space constrained, but don't need high-end hardware or a dedicated graphics card. Why would you buy something that's going to be slower than the hardware that will fit inside this slim tower? You can easily run a Ryzen 5 5600G or Ryzen 7 5700G in this case, with the included power supply. Not every computer is intended for gaming, nor is every case.

I can't be bothered to check case size v Corsair One for instance but I'm guessing about the same size perhaps? I didn't actually say it was 'targeted towards gamers' btw, I made a 'tongue in cheek' remark related to the growing demands of the newest flagship graphics cards (which of course wouldn't be suitable for this slim case). Of course I don't think that everyone who buys a desktop or laptop computer wants to game even if I do BUT if I was 'space restrained' and not interested in gaming then I'd buy a budget-midprice laptop and then I have the option of putting the laptop away when I've finished using it. Oops, that's exactly what I did for my partner who doesn't game and didn't want to buy more than a midprice laptop. They choose to put their laptop away in a cupboard after using it.
Perhaps you could think before writing a silly reply? Then you wouldn't leave a desktop/laptop enthusiast feeling patronised when you hand out 'advice' that they are already completely aware of. I am learning every day from more than 10 online/YouTube tech websites and have done this for MANY YEARS. Stop assuming others are ignorant or only learn or focus upon gaming, I use a Dell XPS 17 4K for all non-gaming stuff.

Perhaps you should think before commenting on a product you're not interested in?
The only one making assumptions in this thread, is you.

Clearly of no use for gaming lol, 300w won't get you far nowadays. Why would someone buy this ugly duckling of a micro case when I've watched reviews of much better looking micro cases? Why would you not buy a laptop and connect that to a larger screen if you need to?
