Samsung releases PRO Endurance series microSD cards with 33x more writes
The PRO Endurance line of microSD cards for security cameras was released by Samsung. It is 33 times more durable than a typical microSD card when using NAND memory for the enterprise.
It is possible to reduce the hassle of replacing the surveillance camera's microSD card, which demands continual driving.The capacity selection includes four models: 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The transfer mode is UHS-I SDR104, the speed class is Class 10 / U1 / V10 for 32 / 64GB and Class 10 / U3 / V30 for 128GB / 256GB, and the transfer speed is sequential read up to 100MB / sec and write up to 40MB / sec (32GB / 64GB is 30MB / sec).
The continuous drive time is 17,520 hours for 32GB, 35,040 hours for 64GB, 70,080 hours for 128GB, and 140,160 hours for 256GB. The outward dimensions are 11 mm wide, 15 mm deep, 1 mm thick, and weigh around 0.25 g.
