Samsung introduced the latest Android tablet Galaxy Tab S8 series at the new product announcement event "Galaxy Unpacked 2022." After February 25th, it will be available worldwide.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the series' flagship model, featuring a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display (organic EL). The display resolution is 2,960 x 1,848 pixels (240ppi), the refresh rate is up to 120Hz, and pen input is supported S Pencil The CPU is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 processor, as well as a variety of 5G and Wi-Fi variants. It features an internal memory of up to 16GB and a storage capacity of up to 512GB. Android 12 is the operating system.
It also has a 13-megapixel + 6-megapixel ultra-wide-angle twin-lens camera and an AKG-supervised Dolby Atmos-compatible quad speaker. It includes an 11,200mAh built-in battery that can charge up to 45W. The external measurements are 208.6 mm in width, 326.4 mm in depth, 5.5 mm in thickness, and 726-728 g in weight. Graphite is the only color available.
The 12.4-inch "Galaxy Tab S8 Plus" and the 11-inch model "Galaxy Tab S8" have also been produced as the series' mainstream models. Except for the display and battery capacity, the basic characteristics are nearly identical, and the Wi-Fi variant and 5G model are lined up like the "Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra."
The display for the "Galaxy Tab S8 +" is a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,752 dots (266ppi) and an 11-inch LTPS TFT LCD with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 dots (276ppi) for the "Galaxy Tab S8." The processor includes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 processor, up to 12GB of memory, and up to 256GB of storage. The parameters for the back camera are the same as for the "Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra."
The "Galaxy Tab S8 Plus" has an external width of 185 mm, a depth of 285.0 mm, a thickness of 5.7 mm, a weight of 567 to 572 g, and a battery capacity of 10,090 mAh. The "Galaxy Tab S8" has a width of 165.3mm, a depth of 253.8mm, a thickness of 6.3mm, weighs 503 to 507g, and features an 8,000mAh battery. The color palette includes graphite, silver, and pink gold.
