Rumor: Pricing and specs for upcoming GeForce RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3070?
Meh, I was hesitating to post this news. As most if this is unsubstantiated guesswork and thus chatter and rumours. The level of leaks on Twitter should be dealt with caution.
New chatter about the upcoming GeForce 30 series is here again. The activity in twitter in regards to leaks has been substantial.
In his latest tweet, kopite7kimi's mentions the GeForce RTX 3070 (Ti / SUPER, etc.) would use the GA104-300 GPU. it would be based on 2944 Shader Cores; there also would be a beefed-up version under the Ti suffix. The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti would house a GA104-400 ASIC with 3072 shader cores. Both would see 8 GB of the latest fastest GDDR6X memory. Memory bandwidth could be around 512 GB/s. The Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 would be around $400 with performance that would be comparable to a GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER, while the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti could be about $500 with performance around that of the GeForce RTX 2080. You.
Remember that kopite7kimi's mentions no source, so it remains to be seen if this is guesswork or substantiated data. As such, treat this info like that.

not sure that 3070 comparable to 2080super is a worth upgrade for who is on a 2070 right now. Is it?

So 3070Ti is 500 which would bring the others to 700 and 900 the very least.

@Hilbert Hagedoorn
Isn't it supposed to be the other way around - 3070 would have a performance of 2080, meanwhile, 3070 Ti would have the performance of 2080 Super?

But But... The prices are only as high due to the miner craze. Next excuse for a $500 midrange GPU, please?

In model number GA104-400, "GA" stands for "Ampere"? "GeForceAmpere"?
