Rumor: GeForce RTX 3080 Ti delayed a week towards early June

We'll have to use the word allegedly here, but the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti would have been announced in weeks two or three of May, that announcement now is rumored to have been elayed.



It is now expected that Nvidia would announce RTX 3080 Ti and likely  3070 Ti on May 31. The RTX 3080 Ti's review embargo would be June 2, the RTX 3070 Ti's performance figured would go live by June 9. Typically these announcement dates are in line with retail availability a day later.

From what we know so far, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will come equipped with 12 GB of GDDR6X memory on a 384-bit bus, and clocked at 1365/1665 MHz. In addition, it will have 10,240 CUDA cores , which translates to 80 Streaming. Multiprocessors (12 more than RTX 3080 and 2 less than RTX 3090).

As for the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, while we haven't heard much about this GPU in recent weeks, it is rumored that the graphics will make use of GA104-400 silicon and will feature 6144 CUDA cores , along with 8GB of GDDR6X memory.
