Robert Hallock, after a substantial tenure of 12 years at AMD, has recently been designated as the Senior Director of Technical Marketing at Intel.

Hallock's association with AMD began in August 2010 and ended in September 2022. During this period, he progressed through the company's ranks, starting as a Product Marketing Manager and culminating as the Director of Technical Marketing, a position he held for over two years.

As he transitions into his new role at Intel, Hallock will primarily address AI integration within consumer-grade processors, highlighting a significant pivot in technology emphasis. On LinkedIn, Hallock conveyed, "Post a brief sabbatical, I am announcing my new role at Intel Corporation as the Senior Director of Technical Marketing. My focus will be centered on AI applications within consumer processors. The continuous evolution of the PC industry is evident, but AI introduces a novel and critical phase. The debut of a new class of accelerators is a unique occurrence. We are at a pivotal moment, foreseeing performance improvements in areas such as speech, text, music, images, and video. I am eager to collaborate with the Intel team dedicated to refining these experiences."

Throughout his stint at AMD, Hallock's engagement predominantly centered around the technical aspects of product marketing.
