2.5-3x faster than R9 290
Up to* 2x faster than 980Ti/FuryX

*NV/AMD lingo :D

Ideal for 2560x1440, and perfectly viable for 4k if you're willing to drop few settings.

Hmm... 25x16 ULTRA or 4K @HIGH settings. Which one gives better IQ?

I doubt that. They are submitting the new 1080 with all the sensors in it though.

For the 1080 Ti I expect over the next few days boards from ASUS, Zotac, Gigabyte likely next week and in roughly two weeks Palit. So that is roughly the overview of Ti boards we'll check out.
