Review: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 07/20/2016 10:07 AM | source: | 35 comment(s)

In our 3rd GTX 1060 review we test the new MSI GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X. Aimed at the mainstream segment with a 279 USD price this card is 20 bucks cheaper compared to the founders edition, yet comes factory overclocked on that custom PCB fitted with a TwiNFrozr VI cooler, Back-plate and even some RGB lighting options. Oh yeah and it is a 6GB model as well.

You know perfectly well that time spy favours nvidia cards, if it was running full dx12 async then the amd cards would perform roughly 25% better than they do now,

so why even use it until futuremark or whatever they are called fixes the async bug?

Fairly priced at £299 = $395!!!

Spend a little extra and get your shelf a GTX 1070 more performance and more head room!
