Just stumbled upon it: Page3 and 5, below the picture of the dimms:

Say we notice on the packaging is this: CL16-16-16-36 1.35V (2T) for a memory kit. What do the numbers mean? Well this refers to CAS-tRCD-tRP-tRAS CMD (respectively) and these values are measured in clock cycles.

But the picture shows not the GTZ model, but the GTZB, which 'only' runs 16-18-18-38. :)

Would have liked to see where you could have actually taken the memory to overclock, but I understand overlocking the RAM would have probably taken too much time. I'm still waiting for my second 2x8GB kit of the GTZB, so I can test those in my system. Thanks Gskill for the contest prize! :)

1) The label does say that, but the XMP profile will allow CL16-16-16-36 1.35V.
2) I clearly start the line with "Say we notice on the packaging is this" as in hypothetical. Regardless I can understand some confusion there, I'll update that towards what the label states.

Yeah, I'm still slightly surprised, sorry :eyes:
But again, thanks for the review Hilbert!

Back in the days of Sdram and DDR1 we all tweaked our ram , but then you could get some nice fps boost . Hell , resolution was 800*600 :) Now it's just not worth it unless you are using a Virtual Machine or professional software ( Acad , Catia , Tekla )
