Resident Evil Village latest update for PC makes it unplayable

The most recent update to Resident Evil Village has made the game impossible to run for some players. According to the company, this issue only affects PC gamers who purchased the game through Steam. 



The Japanese developer stated that the problem consists of a message appearing indicating that the game needs to be restarted. Those who purchased Resident Evil Village for PC cannot play it right now, and there is no way to fix it. Users were advised to "allow some time to fix the matter," according to Capcom.
