Qualcomm unveiled the Qualcomm S5 Sound Platform (QCC517x) and "Qualcomm S3 Sound Platform (QCC307x) wireless audio controllers.

A wireless earbuds and headphones controller IC that provides lossless transmission up to 16bit / 44.1Hz without compromising sound quality. It is compatible with the "aptX Lossless" standard launched in September 2021, and when combined with a terminal equipped with the Snapdragon 8 mobile platform, such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, it can wirelessly broadcast CD-quality lossless music. Additionally, depending on the sound source, it offers 24-bit / 96Hz high-resolution playback. Apart from a gaming mode with a 68ms transmission delay, it also has a 3rd generation adaptive active noise cancellation capability as standard. AptX and AAC have supported codecs.

The new "Qualcomm S5 Sound Platform (QCC517x)" and "Qualcomm S3 Sound Platform (QCC307x)" have begun to supply sample units. The onboard goods are anticipated to launch in the second part of 2022.
