QNAP Releases QSW-M2116P-2T2S managed switch that supports PoE++ and 10 Gigabit LAN

The managed switch has just 2 x 10 Gigabit though, however, the PoE ++ ports can supply up to 90W. Next to that is has a proper 16 x 2.5 Gigabit PoE ports that can supply up to 30W.



Since all ports can output up to 280W in total, you can centrally manage high power consumption PoE devices such as wireless access points, 4K IP cameras, and digital signage. In addition, the management system uses the original "QNAP Switch System" (QSS). Intelligent PoE management such as scheduling, priority, power enable / disable, network security management, and layer 2 management such as LACP / VLAN / QoS / IGMP snooping are possible.

The interface is equipped with 10 Gigabit SFP + x2, 10 Gigabit BASE-Tx2, 2.5 Gigabit BASE-Tx16, the cooling fan is equipped with a double ball bearing fan x2, and the external dimensions are width 285mm, depth 234.8mm, height 43.5mm, weight 2.08kg. Pricing currently sits above the 800 EUR marker.
