Possible prototype Z690 motherboard for Intel Alder Lake CPUs Spotted
Images of a potential Intel Z690 motherboard have appeared on a Chinese social media platform. One such motherboard, shared by a Bilibili user, will be utilized with Intel's forthcoming Alder Lake-S CPU family.
It is unknown which board partner manufactures this motherboard, however, based on the VRM architecture with 23 phases in an 18+2+3 configuration, it appears to be a high-end model, according to VideoCardz. According to Twitter user davideneco25320, the Bilibili user says that it is a Z690 motherboard. According to the Bilibili user, the motherboard is still under embargo.
It would be a Z690 motherboard prototype, which implies it would be devoid of numerous connectors. The two 8-pin connectors for the CPU power supply, for example, are absent. The LGA1700 socket is also lacking. There are also three M.2 slots for SSDs on the motherboard. The leaker provides no more information on the motherboard.
Intel is likely to unveil its early Alder Lake CPUs and the Z690 chipset at the Intel innovation event on October 27. The first goods would be available between October 25 and November 19, according. The CPUs are manufactured on the Intel 7 node. That's Intel's previous 10nm Enhanced Superfin process; the firm recently rebranded its nodes to offer a "clearer image" when compared to rival chip products. Previously, news regarding the forthcoming Alder Lake processors, which will feature two types of cores, DDR5 compatibility, and perhaps PCIe 5.0.

Looks like a 10 phases V-Core VRM design as there's no 18 phases controller out there yet.
Could be doublers but those are rarely seen on CPU motherboard.
