Photos Nvidia Shield Portable 2 Shown by FCC
Pictures surfaced showing the unannounced Nvidia Shield Portable 2. The portable game device features smaller screen edges than its predecessor. The photos are on display and hosted at the US FCC, the FCC tests producst before they may be launched into the US market.
It is at time of writing is not clear whether or not the the Nvidia Shield Portable 2 will be released at all. Nvidia submitted the device six months ago and asked the photos to remain private for six months. That timeframe has passes hence the FCC published them. Manufacturers typically announce the products once they get approval from the FCC, Nvidia has not done that just yet. Nvidia has recently announced a new version of the Nvidia Shield media player with Android TV though.
