New Pure Base 500 chassis and power supply units from be quiet!

be quiet! is exhibiting the latest PC cases and power supplies this week at Computex 2019, first floor, booth J0509 in Nangang Exhibition Hall 1. The silence specialists from Germany are showing their new Pure Base 500 ATX PC chassis, as well as two new power supply units, Straight Power 11 Platinum, and for selected regions, System Power 9 CM.

Pure Base 500: Compact and highly functional at a low price point
Pure Base 500 represents be quiet!’s first approach to a compact ATX case. Despite its compact size, the case packs a full ATX mainboard, radiators up to 360mm in length, high-end graphics cards, high-clearance coolers, and up to 5 SSDs or 2 HDDs. be quiet! even found room for two preinstalled 140mm Pure Wings 2 fans to ensure silent operation, on top of the sound insulating material in the side and front panels. The highlight, however, is the interchangeable top cover, designed to either block out noise from the interior or open up additional cooling capabilities. To make building easier, cables can be routed under the integrated PSU shroud or behind the SSD covers, while the power supply can slide in through the rear of the case thanks to the included PSU installation bracket. Pure Base 500 will be available with tempered glass side panel or sound-insulated side panel in black, gray and white, and is be quiet!’s first case to be available in multiple color options, highlights and limited editions excluded. The projected launch date is September 2019.

Straight Power 11 Platinum: Efficiency upgrade for the premium power supply
The Straight Power 11 series provides a new level of silent performance for systems that demand whisper-quiet operation without the slightest compromise in power quality. In response to market demands, the new Straight Power 11 Platinum power supply will be made available with higher efficiency up to 94% at 80 PLUS Platinum level. The Straight Power 11 Platinum range starts and ends at higher wattage than the standard edition using 80 PLUS Gold efficiency, with wattages from 550 watts to 1200 watts. Straight Power 11 Platinum is scheduled for a November 2019 release.

System Power 9 CM: Small ATX power supply with removable cables
System Power 9 is a cost-conscious power supply unit. In Europe and Australia, be quiet! introduces a version of the entry-level dual rail power supply with semi-modular cables, adding convenience when building with this product. The fixed 20+4 and P4+4 cables are black and sleeved, while removable flat black cables, used for drives and PCI-Express expansion cards, are easy to route. Despite its competitive price point, System Power 9 CM includes 80PLUS Bronze efficiency at 230 volt input and the full suite of protection circuits. be quiet! also managed to reach slightly better noise levels with System Power 9 CM, compared to System Power 9 with all-fixed cables. Available wattages range from 400 to 700 watts and estimated market launch is July 2019.
