MSI to release PRO 271QP27-inch WQHD monitor

MSI is busy in the monitor segment. New is the 271QP, a 27-inch WQHD (with proper 2560x1440 pixel resolution), and an IPS panel LCD display.

A new 27-inch WQHD 2560 x 1440 pixels sized LCD that has been fitted with an IPS panel with a wide viewing angle (178 °). In addition, the adoption of a stand with various adjustment functions is also appealing. It supports height, pivot, swivel, and tilt, and can be adjusted according to the application.

The detailed specifications are sRGB coverage rate of 99.3%, DCI-P3 coverage rate of 92.8%, contrast ratio of 1,000: 1, aspect ratio of 16: 9, maximum brightness of 300cd / ㎡, response speed of 5ms (GTG), and maximum refresh rate of 60Hz. The video terminal is DisplayPort 1.2 x 1, HDMI 1.4 x 2, headphone output x 1. The external dimensions are width 612.6 mm, depth 228.9 mm, height 405.4 mm, and weight 6 kg. Product warranty is 3 years. Price is tba.

Hey, I do feel 2560x1440 is the best gaming sweet spot, DPI wise you're sound and you can save quite a bit of money on your GPU as opposed to wide screens or ultra HD.

It most certainly is. At 27'' 25x16 looks great (very little aliasing), while at 32'' gives you plenty of workspace. And any reasonably decent hw can drive 25x16. Its current sweet-spot
