MSI Teases RadiX AXE6600 Router
MSI is teasing upcoming router, the company teased the RadiX AXE6600. A WiFi 6E router, powered by an unidentified Qualcomm 1.8 GHz SoC, is said to be in the works.
AXE6600 should be equivalent to 600 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, 1200 Mbps in the 5 GHz band, and 4800 MHz in the 6 GHz band, based on the speed ratings of other routers with the same speed rating. Interestingly enough, the specifications appear to be very comparable to those of the Linksys Hydra Pro 6E, presumably because it is built on the same or a similar Qualcomm SoC. The router will not be available for purchase for several months, with an expected launch in the second half of this year. And, just in case you're interested, MSI did build routers at one point in time, but it was a long time ago and they weren't really successful.
