MSI SSDs strengthen our company's reputation as a high-performance PC brand by broadening our ecosystem and moving into the high-performance storage area. These SSDs are constructed using high-quality, high-density 3D NAND flash, which provides excellent performance with read speeds of up to 7000MB/sec. The elegant dual finish aluminum heatsink of the SPATIUM M480 PLAY is intended to accommodate the PlayStation 5. This optimizes heat dissipation, allowing professionals, content makers, and gamers to maintain transfer speeds across all platforms. Other innovations that improve performance include a DRAM cache buffer and an SLC cache.

SPATIUM M480 PLAY is the optimal product made for console gaming in the SPATIUM lineup with four storage capacities – 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB. This brings next-level storage performance to players for PlayStation®5, content creators, and PC gamers. Expanding the storage device on the PS5™ is a simple upgrade that allows for lightning-fast save and load times for large game files.

Compliance with PCIe Gen 4 and NVMe 1.4 standards unleashes the latest in extreme transfer speeds up to 7000MB/sec sequential read and 6800MB/sec sequential write speeds. The dual finish aluminum heatsink efficiently dissipates heat, allowing the M480 to sustain maximum performance under heavy workloads. SPATIUM M480 PLAY supports a comprehensive range of data error correction features including LPDC ECC and E2E Data Protection, providing a high rated TBW (Terabytes Written) for excellent durability and longevity backed with a limited 5-year warranty.
