MSI GeForce GTX 1080 AERO OC Edition Hits the Street

Officially announced during the 1080 launch we never actually have seen the more more budget model GeForce GTX 1080 from MSI. It seems they are now released. The aero OC is now added as well and is a more simplistic and slightly more affordable version. MSI AERO graphics cards are equipped with a new black & silver design.

Sporting a sleek Black & Silver look, the MSI GeForce® GTX 1080 AERO 8G OC will look great in any build. The new AERO graphics cards It feature a new thermal design built around a radial fan which pushes all the heated air out of the PC via a rear exhaust, keeping the rest of your components cool. An OC model is now also available. We have spotted the product setting for 699,-- in the EU.

Got my eye on the AERO (1070 tho) as i will be using an Arctic Accelero Xtreme 4. Infact i already ordered the cooler.

Just waiting for prices to on the 1070 to drop a little. Everything is still €499 or higher here in Holland. Funny thing is that Custom Models are more expensive than FE, for the 1070 atleast.

Does the Accelero Xtreme iV have memory and VRM cooling? i only saw the backplate heatsink thingy but nothing else. Or am i wrong?

Only the Backplate, which does a good job at cooling the VRMs according to reviews.
