MSI introduced the G2712, a 27-inch full HD gaming liquid crystal display with a refresh rate of 170Hz and a response time of 1ms.

The LCD panel is an IPS system, and the display synchronization technology is AMD FreeSync Premium compatible. It also offers features like "Anti Flicker," which suppresses screen flicker, "Less Blue Light," which decreases blue light, and "Night Vision," which increases the sight of dark areas. The primary specifications are as follows: brightness 250nit, contrast ratio 1,100: 1, display color 16.7 million colors, color gamut Adobe RGB 85.67 percent / DCI-P3 81.1 percent / sRGB 101.91 percent, and viewing angle horizontal / vertical 178 °. HDMI x2, DisplayPort x1, and an earphone jack x1 are the interfaces.

The stand includes a tilt range of -5 to 20 degrees, a VESA mounter with a pitch of 100x100mm, and external measurements of width 612.5mm, depth 228.2mm, height 454mm, and weight 4.1kg.
