MMD Launches Philips 329P9H monitor - 4K IPS w/ USB-C Dock, GbE, KVM

MMD is launching the all-new Philips 329P9H/01 Brilliance LCD monitor with USB-C Dock. This 32” (31.5" / 80 cm diag.) display is equipped with a full range of high-performance features tailored to the needs of today’s professionals.

UltraClear 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution dazzles the eyes, while numerous connectivity solutions bring time-saving convenience and flexibility to the office and thoughtfully designed ergonomics ensure optimal well-being all day long. From managers to financial experts, graphic designers to prosumers, this monitor has what it takes when every detail counts.

More than ever, today’s professionals depend on hassle-free connectivity to facilitate their work. Here as well, the Philips 329P9H goes above and beyond. Featuring a built-in USB 3.1 type-C docking station with power delivery, this monitor offers the convenience and versatility of one-cable docking using a slim, reversible USB-C connector. A wide array of peripherals such as the keyboard, mouse, or RJ-45 Ethernet cable can be plugged directly into the monitor’s docking station, while notebook computers can be connected via USB-C cable to recharge, transfer files at super speed, offer access to high-resolution video, and more. But the Philips 329P9H provides additional connectivity features as well. A MultiClient Integrated KVM switch allows users to control two separate PCs with a single monitor-keyboard-mouse set-up, switching between sources with the simple push of a button. On top of that, MultiView technology further multiplies users’ connectivity options by enabling active dual connect and view, so that users can get the most out of multitasking with multiple devices like a PC and a notebook simultaneously. To complete the connected experience, the Philips 329P9H includes a secure pop-up webcam equipped with advanced sensors for Windows Hello™ facial recognition and designed to be easily tucked away when not in use.

Sparkling visuals

When it comes to picture performance, the Philips 329P9H packs a punch. Equipped with UltraClear 4K UHD resolution, every image is rendered in exquisite detail with 1.07 billion colours and colour accuracy that is certain to delight even the most demanding professionals (coverage of 90% NTSC, 108% sRGB, 87% Adobe RGB colour spaces). For those who require extreme precision when working with CAD or 3D technology, this monitor delivers. In addition, IPS technology provides extra wide 178/178 degrees viewing angles, meaning that the Philips 329P9H can be viewed from nearly any angle, even when in 90 degree Pivot mode. Colours come to life, images gain remarkable crispness, and brightness levels are optimised, ensuring that photographs, movies, web browsing, and every professional application are experienced at their best.

Intelligent design

Technology is at its best when it makes life easier and more enjoyable, which is another reason to love the Philips 329P9H. Equipped with multiple ergonomic features, it ensures maximum comfort no matter how much time users spend in front of it. Flicker-Free technology and LowBlue Mode make every work session easy on the eyes, while the SmartErgoBase lets users tilt, swivel, and rotate the monitor to just the right position for their needs. The base even includes a clever cable management system to reduce clutter, adding an extra touch of care and convenience. And since no one likes to waste energy, the Philips 329P9H comes equipped with LightSensor technology and PowerSensor, which uses harmless infrared sensors to detect a user’s presence or absence in order to adjust the monitor’s brightness — for automatic power savings.
