Microsoft provides methods for bypassing the TPM 2.0 verification process during the Windows 11 upgrade

Current users of Windows 10 PCs can to upgrade to the latest version of Windows 11. Microsoft has made a support website available on the internet that details the numerous installation choices. Surprisingly, there is also a listing for systems that are incompatible allowing you to bypass the TMP 2.0 check.

The developer gives instructions for customers whose PCs do not already have RPM 2.0 installed but who wish to upgrade anyhow. Changing a setting in the Registry Editor can get around the rpm 2.0 check, while version 1.2 is still necessary. However, because this earlier version has been around for a considerably longer period of time, it should be compatible with a greater variety of (and older) hardware.

Now it should be possible to install the latest version of Windows on older systems; however, there are some restrictions: individuals desiring to install the most recent version of Windows must accept a message stating that such an upgrade is not recommended. This implies that you will not receive any support and will not be eligible for any updates in the future. There are various workarounds that can be used to remedy the latter problem, though it is unclear how long they will continue to function.

This whole requirements thing is a complete joke.
Windows Update tells me my system doesn't meet the requirements for Windows 11, and suggests that I use PC Health Check to see why.
So I do just that, and PC Health Check tells me I'm good to go. Go figure...

I installed W11 on my Surface Pro 2 which isn't compatible as it only has TPM 1.2 an Intel 4200U. If I try the upgrade it complains about this and doesn't let me so I did a clean install form USB and it just let me install it fine with no roadblocks or warnings!

I expected something, even if it was a warning after windows was installed to let me know my system is incompatible. I hope they don't later on decide to start blocking updates/features because of this

In other words, Microsoft is practically sabotaging their own work and OS for the sake of appeasing all the peasants and their pitchforks screaming on the internet, no backbone what so ever. ONLY people with adequate hardware should be able to run W11, unfortunately MS and their management have become the world masters in mediocrity and compromise... What MS is doing is like, you can only enter thru the front door after security check BUT with the right connections and words you can also enter thru the back door, which defeats the purpose of W11. Over and out.
