Installing Chrome on Windows 11 is a difficult task as Microsoft is blocking Google in any and every way possible. Add to that this latest bit.

Microsoft Edge's recent version, 116, has flagged ChromeSetup.exe, the installation file for Google Chrome, for potential security concerns, as noted by Windows Latest. Windows 10 and 11 browsers possess an inherent security mechanism that prompts users through notifications to consider removing ChromeSetup.exe and suggests trying Microsoft Edge as an alternative. Detailed analysis indicates that this misclassification occurred in approximately 20% of stable Microsoft Edge 116 installations.

Currently, Microsoft has not released any official communication regarding ChromeSetup.exe's categorization as a potential security concern. It's worth noting that this warning has limited occurrences and might have already been addressed.
