NEC announced the release of three models, including the Wi-Fi 6 compatible Aterm WX5400HP home router.  The "Aterm WX5400HP" is a premium model that offers six streams (5GHz band 4 / 2.4GHz band 2). 

A mesh function that expands the network area through the use of many repeaters, the identification of suspicious connections to home Wi-Fi, the banning of access to dangerous and harmful websites, and the connectivity of IoT home appliances to Wi-Fi. It relates to "Trend Micro Home Network Security" (which is available for free for up to 90 days) and is capable of visualizing and managing networks.

It supports WPA3-SAE (AES), WPA2-PSK (AES) / WPA3-SAE (AES), and Gigabit WANx1 and Gigabit LANx4. The transfer speed is up to 574Mbps in the 2.4GHz band and up to 4,804Mbps in the 5GHz band. Security features include SSID, MAC address filtering, remote work Wi-Fi, WPA / WPA2-PSK (TKIP / A External measurements are 46.5 mm in width, 180 mm in depth, and 180 mm in height, with a weight of 0.6 kg.

Transfer rates of up to 574Mbps in the 2.4GHz band and up to 2,402Mbps in the 5GHz band are supported, as as security features such as SSID, MAC address filtering, and remote work. Wi-Fi, WEP (128bit), WPA / WPA2-PSK (TKIP / AES), WPA3-SAE (AES), WPA2-PSK (AES) / WPA3-SAE (AES), and WPA2-PSK (AES) / WPA3-SAE (AES) are all supported, as is the Gigabit WANx1 and Gigabit LANx4 interface. External dimensions are 48 mm in width, 129.5 mm in depth, 170 mm in height, and 0.7 kilogram in weight.

The "Aterm WX1500HP" is a low-cost starter model that offers four streams (5GHz band 2 and 2.4GHz band 2).

It supports WPA3-SAE (AES), WPA2-PSK (TKIP / AES), WPA / WPA2-PSK (TKIP / AES), and WPA2-PSK (TKIP / AES). The interfaces are Gigabit WANx1 and Gigabit LANx3. External measurements are 46 mm in width, 145 mm in depth, and 145 mm in height, with a weight of 0.3 kg.
