Logitech offers MK850 Performance Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo
Today Logitech announced the Logitech MK850 Performance Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo, a keyboard and mouse set with a cushioned palm rest and carefully-crafted keys designed for all-day comfort.
The keyboard and mouse work together with new Logitech DuoLink software, which enables customized functions and navigation.
“Comfort at your desk is key, especially when you really need to get stuff done,” said Art O Gnimh, global director of keyboards at Logitech. “Whether that’s researching, creating or communicating, all-day productivity requires comfort so you can reach your full potential. The MK850 Performance wireless keyboard and mouse combo gives you comfort and total control so you can type on any device and switch seamlessly between them to get your work done.”
The MK850 Performance combo provides a comfortable and familiar typing experience with a full-size keyboard features a number pad and carefully crafted keys that help guide your fingers. The cushioned palm rest provides full wrist support and the curved keyframe creates a more natural typing position, while the adjustable tilt legs enable multiple typing angles. The contoured design of the mouse fits comfortably in your palm, and the hyper-fast scroll wheel allows you to scroll through documents and web pages with ease.
Logitech DuoLink, an exclusive feature available through Logitech Options software, makes the MK850 Performance Logitech’s first true combo by linking the keyboard and mouse so that they work together to provide new functionality. DuoLink enables the mouse buttons to have a different set of actions and gestures when you hold the Fn key down on the keyboard. For example, you can easily swipe between desktops and bring up Task View or Mission Control by moving your mouse. While you are listening to music, you can also play and pause by middle-clicking, or change songs by tilting the scroll wheel left and right.
Both the keyboard and mouse feature Easy-SwitchTM technology. With the touch of a button, you can easily switch between any three connected devices. The keyboard also features an adaptive multi-OS interface that recognizes the appropriate hotkeys and shortcuts in a familiar layout, so whether you are using Windows®, Mac® or Chrome OS™ computer, or an Android™ or iOS mobile device, the MK850 Performance keyboard lets you power through any project on any screen. With the Logitech Unifying USB and Bluetooth® technology, you can choose the best way to connect to your computer, phone or tablet.
Availability
The Logitech MK850 Performance Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo is available today for a suggested retail price of £109.99 / EUR 119.00

I used to like Logitech, but they are not even remotely competitive any more. $100 for a crappy membrane keyboard that the letters will rub off in 2 months, plus generic mouse combo? I just bought a damned fine mechanical, double-shot backlit keyboard for $36 and a 'gaming' mouse (x2) for $9.99 that works better than any $70 Logitech mouse I ever owned (and there were many).
They charge way too much for cheap Chinese junk that you can get elsewhere for $12.
