LG Electronics (LG) introduces its newest addition to the UltraGear gaming monitor series, the 49GR85DC. This curved 49-inch display boasts a 32:9 aspect ratio and an ultra-high 240 Hz refresh rate

The monitor features a Dual QHD (5,120 x 1,440) resolution panel with a 1000R curvature, delivering sharp and vibrant images that fill the user's field of vision. The VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, 3000:1 contrast ratio, and 1000-nit peak brightness further enhance the visual quality with vivid colors and deep, nuanced blacks.

Not only designed for gaming, the 49GR85DC offers multitasking features like Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) modes, allowing users to work with multiple open windows at the same time. The monitor's connectivity via DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 enables smooth gaming at 240 Hz in Dual QHD resolution, making it suitable for both PC and console gaming.

The UltraGear's LED Hexagon backlighting and DTS Headphone:X support create an immersive and dynamic gaming environment. The monitor is available in the U.S. at an MSRP of US$1,299.99 ex VAT and will be launched in key markets throughout Europe this month and in Asia later this year.

According to Seo Young-jae, Senior Vice President and Head of the IT Business Unit of LG Electronics Business Solutions Company, the new UltraGear gaming monitor is a versatile, premium display solution that satisfies the diverse needs of today's consumers.
