LG 27MU67 27-in Ultra HD Gaming Screen and FreeSync

More monitor news as LG releases their LG 27MU67. This 27" monitor has an IPS-type panel with an Ultra HD resolution of 3840 x 2160. It will also get AMD FreeSync support for a dynamic refresh rate.

We mentioned this monitor a couple of times already in the news. Specs wise the screen is something in the region of 4ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 178/178 viewing angles and a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen offers a 99% sRGB gamut and 10-bit colour depth. There are connections for HDMI x2, DisplayPort, Mini DP and audio out. LG also mentions a 4-screen split for mulit-tasking (PiP) and game mode with Black Stabiliser.

Serious kit for serious gamers. LG’s Gaming Monitors allows you to chose your mode and benefit from 144Hz frame rate, 1ms response times with Motion240 Mode or with LG’s Black Stabiliser Mode to give you better visibility in dark scenes. Plus, with our built-in Game Pad, customisable Game Mode settings, and adjustable stand, you can create your preferred environment for gaming – on the screen and in your room. Browse our newest gaming monitor, as well as our latest IT accessories – and take your gaming to a whole new level.

Interesting, but they should provide all details as LG site states even less than article.
At what resolution it can go to 144Hz. Or, is that external 144Hz refresh via freesync and then butchered to 60hz refresh of that screen?
What are freesync refresh rate ranges at each resolution. What is screen capable of? (since they state motion240 which seems internal capability to go to 240Hz)

Does it have FPR for passive 3D?

I'm still in doubt towards freesync technology as the few review i had was quite negative compared to G-Sync. :(

Great spec monitor, however the looks, design and huge bezels look like $hit...
