Lenovo ThinkVision P49w-30: 49-inch DQHD Curved Display with Thunderbolt 4 Compatibility

Lenovo announced the release of the Lenovo "ThinkVision P49w-30," a 49-inch ultra-wide curved display that supports DQHD (5,120 x 1,440) resolution. 



This display features an IPS panel with a 32:9 aspect ratio and a curvature of 3800R. The ThinkVision P49w-30 offers a wide color gamut with 98% DCI-P3 coverage and 100% sRGB, ensuring accurate color reproduction with a Delta E<2. It comes equipped with various useful features, including Thunderbolt 4 support for daisy chain connection, up to 100W power delivery, wired LAN functionality, KVM switch, PIP (Picture-in-Picture), and PBP (Picture-by-Picture).

Key specifications of the ThinkVision P49w-30 include a contrast ratio of 2,000:1, brightness of 350cd/m2, a response speed of 6ms (default)/4ms (when OC), and a display color of 1.07 billion colors. The display offers a range of connectivity options, including Thunderbolt 4 x 2, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C x 1, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A x 4, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B x 1, DisplayPort x 1, HDMI x 2, RJ-45 x 1, and a headphone output x 1.

The stand of the ThinkVision P49w-30 allows for -5 to 24° tilt, -45 to 45° swivel, and 155mm height adjustment. The weight of the main body is 15.8 kg. Pricing is set at roughly $1749
